How to subscribe to Channels in the TV app on Apple TV

iOS 12.3 is out now with overhauled TV app

All-new Apple TV app available in over 100 countries starting today

AirPlay 2-enabled Samsung smart TVs will let customers play videos and other content from their iPhone, iPad or Mac directly to their Samsung set.

The revamped TV app is also available now on Samsung TVs, along with AirPlay 2 support with an upcoming firmware update.

In Norway Amazon Prime Video, Apple Music, Arte, Bloomberg, C More, Canal Digital, Cheddar, Classix, Dplay, Euronews, Garage, Hayu, HBO Nordic, Love Nature, Mubi, MUTV, Red Bull TV, TV 2 Nyhetskanalen, TV2 Sumo, Viafree, Viaplay, and Viki. AirPlay 2 and HomeKit functionality will arrive for certain Vizio, LG and Sony smart TVs later this year.

Apple has major plans for your television and the big-screen shake-up is beginning today with the launch of the all-new Apple TV app.

If Apple TV is available in your country, and you own a Samsung smart TV model from the past year, keep an eye out for the firmware update.

Although full details remain scarce we do know some of the names that will be producing and staring in its content.

This is all a predicate for the new Apple TV+ subscription service, which Apple previewed at an event this spring and will bring a host of exclusive content to the platform later this fall. "In the US, Apple TV channels include popular services such as HBO, Starz, SHOWTIME, Smithsonian Channel, EPIX, Tastemade, and new services like MTV Hits, with more to be added over time around the world".

iOS 12.3 is also available for the HomePod, where it adds support for joining some types of enterprise networks that require unique credentials. Give it a week and then install if the Mac community doesn't start discussing update problems.

watchOS 5.2.1 is out too and it expands support for the ECG feature and irregular heart beat notifications to Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Croatia, and Iceland.

The only other change is a fix for a bug that prevented the numbers on the Explorer face from appearing for some users.

You can install the 126 MB watchOS 5.2.1 update using the iPhone's Watch app (go to Watch General Software Update).
