WrestleMania 35: Women to headline WWE's famous show for first time ever

Ronda Rousey title match to serve as WrestleMania's first all-female main event

WWE Announces Historic Female-Only Main Event for WrestleMania 35: See Who's In

Now Rousey will look to steal the show again when she headlines the event alongside Lynch and Flair as the first women's main event in WWE WrestleMania history.

Becky "The Man" Lynch will face Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair on April 7 to close out World Wrestling Entertainment's biggest broadcast of the year, which has a global audience of millions. Now WWE has revealed a new poster for Mania, and it's official.

Less than a fortnight to go to the grandest stage of them all, and the company has dropped one of the most significant pieces of news, dare we say historic, in its four decades this afternoon.

Rousey now holds the title of Raw Women's Champion, but Flair and Lynch are ready to take her on.

Tonight's WWE RAW TV tapings take place from Boston, MA and the show will air live on the USA Network.

Lynch, the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble victor and a two-time SmackDown Women's champion, also celebrated on Twitter. Becky Lynch is the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble victor, a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion and was named Wrestler of the Year by both Sports Illustrated and CBS Sports in 2018.

The WWE rebranded its Divas Division as the Women's Division at WrestleMania 32 in 2016.

The last six and a bit years have seen Lynch climb the lucrative ladder.

No angle has been hotter in the WWE over the past few months than the growing issues between a trio of top women superstars.
