- Lottery officials say the Powerball jackpot has grown to $750 million after no ticket matched all six numbers in the most recent drawing.

Wednesday's drawing is the third-largest lottery jackpot in USA history and Powerball's second-largest of all time, according to lottery officials. The cash option is $465.5 million.

Eight tickets matched all five white balls, but missed matching the red Powerball in Saturday's drawing to win a $1 million prize.

The jackpot is now at $750 million.

On the Powerball website, tickets sold in Arizona, California, Indiana, Missouri, New Jersey, and NY have won $1 million.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.

"We have been playing Powerball together off and on for years and we always dreamed we'd land a big victor". Tickets cost $2 each.

Donald Lawson of Lapeer, Michigan won $337 million in Powerball in 2012.
