FA Cup: Emery confirms five Arsenal players to miss Blackpool clash

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey

Football news - Juventus chief: We 'really like' Aaron Ramsey

Cech is out of contract at the end of the campaign and the 36-year-old is facing an uncertain future in London.

Ramsey has been out of favour this season at Arsenal but has played well when used by manager Emery.

But that tie was played at the Emirates, and the fact this weekend's FA Cup third round clash is at Bloomfield Road could make the difference according to Taylor.

The former Czech Republic global has kept more clean sheets than any goalkeeper in Premier League history but, with his contract expiring in the summer, Emery admits there have been no talks about extending Cech's deal.

This result followed a patchy run of form, with manager Unai Emery coming in for criticism as Arsenal's unbeaten spell came to an abrupt end.

"This is a question for the club and the player to deal with our necessary things with the goalkeeper. If he decides Aaron Ramsey is the player who is going to lead us to as captain and help us beat Liverpool, then he'll pick him".

He has found opportunities limited behind Bernd Leno, having started the season as Emery's first-choice keeper prior to a hamstring injury in September.

"His commitment has not changed with his new situation".

"But I am happy with him". Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal are back in training after recovering from their respective injuries but they're unlikely to be risked against Blackpool.

As for Blackpool, they'll be without Jordan Thompson due to suspension while Curtis Tilt, Oliver Turton, Mark Cullen and Jimmy Ryan will all miss out.
