Alabama QB (ankle) says he won't be '100 percent' vs

Report: Alabama OL Deonte Brown among three Tide player suspended for bowl game

3 Alabama players suspended for Orange Bowl

Alabama suspended starting left guard Deonte Brown, fellow offensive lineman Elliott Baker and tight end Kedrick James for its College Football Playoff semifinal matchup against Oklahoma, the school announced.

Tagovailoa suffered a high-grade ankle sprain in Alabama's SEC Championship win over Georgia.

"I'm getting treatment at this moment, but it's been a lot better", Tagovailoa said. "It's been a lot better". "If I could grade it on a scale from 0-100, I would say it's at about 80-85 percent".

The Sooners arrived Sunday and the Crimson Tide Monday. "It's been really good".

For the second straight year, Lincoln Riley produced the Heisman Trophy victor at QB, with Oklahoma's Kyler Murray edging out Tua Tagovailoa to join Baker Mayfield as back-to-back Heisman winners for the Sooners.

Kickoff between Alabama and Oklahoma is set for 8 p.m. ET.

Oklahoma offensive coordinator Cale Gundy didn't offer much insight into what is plaguing Murray.

The Hawaiian has thrown for 3,353 yards with 37 touchdowns against four interceptions this season.

"I didn't know anything about it until I got in the auto this morning", Oklahoma offensive coordinator Cale Gundy said.

It's possible the Heisman Trophy victor won't be at 100 percent, either. He has also rushed for 167 yards and two scores. We've seen individual young players take massive steps forward in the layoff between the regular season and bowl games in the past.
