Hollywood stars including Kim Kardashian West, Alyssa Milano, Lady Gaga, Caitlyn Jenner and more were among the thousands of people who were forced to evacuate their homes due to the Woolsey Fire that is ravaging Los Angeles County. "No Calabasas tonight", she shared.

Kim Kardashian has been facing a pretty terrifying ordeal, as the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has had to evacuate her and Kanye West's Calabasas home due to a wildfire.

She wrote alongside the picture: "I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires".

Cher, who said she had lived in Malibu since 1972, tweeted that the wildfire was coming close to her home, although she said she was not on the property.

She wrote on Instagram: "We love our community #malibu so devastating... taking us hours to evacuate".


The entire 12,000-strong population of Malibu, which stretches 43.5 km along the Pacific Ocean in Southern California and up into the Santa Monica mountains, was placed under mandatory evacuation on Friday as the Woolsey fire exploded overnight.

"We lost our home, but we are all safe and that's the important thing", the director tweeted Friday.

Almost 150,000 residents in Southern California have been ordered to evacuate as the Hill and Woolsey Fires move westward toward the Pacific Ocean.

Kim later updated on Twitter that while the flames hit her Hidden Hills home, the fire there appeared to have been contained.

The 2000-acre Woolsey Fire is now burning in Ventura County with officials reporting zero containment, per the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.


'I just pray the winds are in our favour.

She said she'd temporarily taken up in sister Kendall Jenner's home, while the supermodel was stomping down the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway in New York City.

Some 20,000 acres of land have been left scorched in the wake of the fires, which remain zero percent under control as of Friday afternoon, according to officials. "Saying prayers and thanking all of the courageous firefighters who risk their lives for us".

Orlando Bloom shared a terrifying snapshot showing the dense wall of fire approaching his home. "I know they would appreciate it", she added, as she walked through the store's aisles.
