Barbra Streisand opens up about stage fright on "Carpool Karaoke"

‘Late Late Show’ Host James Corden Teams With Barbra Streisand For Some Classic Carpool Karaoke

The British comedian had some amusing moments with the 76-year-old singing legend as she admitted that she's not the best driver.

Not only did Streisand fail the test three times, she admitted that she was once so distracted she drove onto the off-ramp of a highway, into oncoming traffic.

In fact, Streisand confessed, she had stopped performing for 27 years because her anxiety was too intense. Not only did Babs sing her heart out, but she told a hilarious story about contacting the head of Apple to change the way Siri pronounces her name!

"People still mispronounce my name, they say Stry-zand, Strisand in England", she complained.

"Siri is saying my name wrong".

"I once called Steve Jobs when I couldn't figure out something on my computer", she said of the late Apple CEO.

The Trump era will surely produce a strong, outspoken musical response, perhaps from newer artists who have yet to be heard on the national stage, but Streisand here fails to break new ground. She has worked on it over the years and told James what helps her overcome her fears: Before going onstage, she said, she tells herself, "Let go and let God". "The only thing I can do is write about it, and tweet".

Barbra Streisand seemingly has every award under the sun (she's one of few people to receive EGOT status), but the famous singer isn't immune to everyday problems.

"They say there's a first time for everything... can you believe this was my first time singing out loud in a vehicle?" she revealed.
