The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will be available in China starting on November 1. It comes with a magnetic slider design for its selfie camera. The company's Mi Mix 3 is its most lovely phone to date, featuring an edge-to-edge display and no notch. It harkens back to the days of old slider phones.
One of the major changes made from Mi 8 in the Mi 8 Pro is the inclusion of the in-display fingerprint sensor.
Mi MIX 3's patented slider incorporates neodymium magnets that have been carefully calibrated.
Like the previous Mix series phones, the Mi Mix 3 has a bezel-less design.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has a large Full HD+ 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The device features an impressive 93.4 percent screen-to-body ratio for immersive viewing. The pixel density is of 403 ppi. Other display specs include 60000:1 contrast ratio, 103.8% NTSC Color gamut & 600 nit brightness. "Check out full specifications and features of Xiaomi Mi Mix 3".
Xiaomi on Thursday launched another smartphone with 10GB of RAM. Both the front and rear facing unit will be dual lens cameras.
The sliding mechanism is not motor-powered and CEO Lei Jun only stated that it will be "relaxing" to play with. The primary 12MP wide-angle lenses have Sony IMX363 sensor with f/1,8 aperture and OIS. It also has 4-axis Optical Image Stabilization with features like 4K video recording and 960 fps slow-mo option. The rear panel is mounted on a magnetic slider that reveals the dual front camera when you slide it out. It's good to see Xiaomi has finally solved the selfie camera conundrum by housing it in the sliding camera module. During pixel binning, the resolution is reduced to 6 MP. On the front, users get a 24-megapixel primary camera and 2-megapixel sensor. The front has a 24MP camera along with a 2MP sensor.
The smartphone is preloaded with MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS. And it should all keep glowing beautifully all day thanks to a 3,200mAh battery. The phone will come with a 10W Fast Wireless Charger inside the box.
Mi MIX 3 comes with a ceramic built on the out. However, the current variants don't support 5G. It does have a Type-C USB to 3.5mm audio jack adapter. In addition, Xiaomi does not provide a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
The smartphone has Bluetooth 5.0.
The phone has four storage options, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: 3299 yuan ($474.87); 8GB RAM + 128GB storage 3599 yuan ($517.93); 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: 3999 yuan ($575.50). The 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Internal Storage variant is priced at 3,599 Yuan (about $518 or ₹38,000). Prices start at 3,299 yuan (P25,494.71*) and goes all the way to 4,999 yuan (P38,632.33) for the 10GB + 256GB "Palace Museum Edition".
The Mi Mix 3 will be launched in India soon and the official Indian prices will also be disclosed soon.
