Since becoming the Duchess of Sussex, observers have commented on how she's bucked protocol or broken traditions, like most recently shutting her own auto door or crossing her legs.

The 53-year-old has flown into the United Kingdom in an attempt to reconcile with her estranged sibling Meghan, whom she has not spoken to since she married British royal Prince Harry, and encourage her to speak to their sick father Thomas Markle, but if she chooses to ignore her attempts at a reconciliation then she will carry on with her life. "There have been so many times I've said, in live interviews, favourable things but they were not printed".

She also earlier went on an extraordinary Twitter rant, proclaiming Meghan "wasn't much different than Trump".

"I would just say that there is so much water under the bridge and so much has spun out of control that was never meant to", Samantha, 53, said on the "Jeremy Vine" show on Monday.

The Strictly Come Dancing contender said Meghan is a "great role model" and would have inspired her as a young girl.

Samantha continued, "The public were making a mockery of the family and it had to stop".

Since Meghan became a royal, Ms Markle has hit out at her for being "cold", accused her of ignoring her father, branded Harry a "wuss", and has gone as far as to say she would blame Meghan should Thomas Markle die. The DUCHASS should be humane to our father who has given her everything... and this media crap can stop! "[It felt] really wrong to allow that to continue".

"I'm really hurt that Meghan's cut me off completely".

"I was hoping that maybe we would have the chance to speak, that she would know I was here".

It's no surprise that Meghan doesn't have a relationship with her.

Samantha Markle, 53, said on Jeremy Vine's Channel 5 show Monday morning that she wanted to "get a message across from my father" to Meghan.

She added that she wants him to travel to the United Kingdom to be with Meghan. "And maybe it's quite powerful", Samantha said.

Despite everything, Samantha seemed pleased that Meghan has "found her prince".

"If you actually love your sister I think this should have been done in private, not on social media, or going on television saying you're sorry... what you're doing is not right".
