Pogba and Mourinho disagreement over Instagram video, confirms Pereira

NewsManchester United offer contract to Massimiliano Allegri

Paul Scholes has once again laid into Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho saying that even Messi would struggle to flourish at his former club and that they have now become a laughing stock.

"Pogba was part of a great team but he's come to United where he's got nobody to control him like he had at Juventus".

Mourinho's side fought back from 2-0 down at halftime in the game to win 3-2 thanks to an injury time winning goal from Alexis Sanchez, which many believe probably saved the Portuguese coach from getting the sack.

But he told UOL: "It was in a cup game".

The Frenchman was expected to depart from Manchester in the summer transfer window, with his agent publicly stating that the 22-year-old was looking for a new destination that could offer regular game-time. Pogba's turbulent relationship with manager Jose Mourinho has also not helped matters, which lead to Mourinho taking the vice-captaincy from him. He asked him why that happened.

'Mourinho gave me a chance, he said to me: "I want you to stay here".

An insidious atmosphere has swirled around Old Trafford in recent weeks, with the Pogba-Mourinho bust-up only serving to compound the team's poor results on the pitch.

No stranger to criticising the team since he hung his own boots, Scholes has described himself as "just a frustrated United fan" in an interview with ESPN and feels that Pogba's attitude makes him prone to mistakes despite his obvious and vast talent.

"It feels like we have turned into a Liverpool or a Man City".

'It has already happened of me parking the auto, the guys see that I'm a Manchester player, and they scratch my vehicle.

For Scholes, United's current players do not have what is required.
