Photos showed the van's windows were covered with political stickers.

Videos and photos of the suspect's van, which was confiscated and taken to the Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters in Miami, show stickers of President Trump, Vice President Pence and the American flag, along with stickers that say 'CNN sucks'.

"I think we all bear some responsibility and we need to try to clean up our act and try to bring civility to our congress and frankly to our dialogue", Stivers said.

"We should come together as a country", Lujan said.

Mr. Trump, though, said change must start with the media.

Moore, 64, revealed unused footage his camera crew filmed for a documentary about the 2016 US presidential election and Trump's subsequent presidency. He said coverage of his administration has been 94 percent negative.

"The media has a major role to play, whether they want to or not".

Cesar Sayoc, from Aventura, Florida, was arrested in Miami after 13 explosive devices were sent to the targets.

Sayoc is accused of sending bubble-wrapped manila envelopes to Democrats such as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. Sayoc is accused of mailing the devices.

Public records show that Sayoc has numerous arrests over the years for domestic violence, theft and other charges, including an alleged bomb threat against a utility company. The man had been a volunteer for Sen. Bernie Sanders' (I-Vt.) 2016 presidential campaign.

"Yet when a Bernie Sanders supporter tried to murder members of Congress. we did not use that heinous attempt at mass murder for political gain because that would have been wrong", Trump said, in an apparent reference to the shooting at a congressional baseball practice in Virginia past year.

My crew first encountered Cesar Sayoc, the mail bomber/terrorist, 20 months ago when we went down to Melbourne, Florida, to film Trump's first "Trump 2020 Re-election Rally" - just one month after his inauguration. "His thought process was sick". Moore sees their actions as related, and both influenced by Trump's rhetoric about "enemies of the people". Trump did, however, speak with former President George W. Bush this summer to inform him he had made a decision to nominate his former aide, Brett Kavanaugh, as a Supreme Court justice.

It's not yet clear whether the package in Atlanta is similar to more than a dozen that were intercepted last week - all of them using the address of Rep.

Authorities say they are looking for more packages and investigating if Sayoc had any help making these improvised devices.

The lawyer said Sayoc was a bodybuilder then, and displayed no political leanings except for plastering a vehicle he owned with Native American signs.

Although Steyer conceded "There's obviously no direct link" between the attempted bombings in the mail and Trump, he emphasized that "I'm absolutely associating and blaming him for creating the atmosphere that exists".
