Flora from the 53 Commonwealth countries were represented on Meghan's five-metre-long veil, as well as two of the bride's favourite flowers: wintersweet, which grows in the grounds of Kensington Palace in front of Prince Harry and Meghan's home Nottingham Cottage, and the California Poppy, a nod to the former actress' place of birth.
The Duchess of Sussex's fear of stories being leaked to the press no doubt stems from her father, Thomas Markle, and her half-sister, Samantha Markle's, constant stream of interviews about her and Prince Harry over the past few months.
Daniel shared that 'There's a small group of us that check in with her and see how she's doing, but she's still the same person'. "The bond between them is very close".
The Duchess of Sussex's former agent, Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, also said that Meghan "instantly brings you into her world" but will freeze you out the moment you bring any "negativity" her way. "The beginning of marriages are not that easy, but to have that impetus of your own family being disloyal is disgusting and embarrassing". Her wardrobe needs and priorities have changed.
"When she does venture out to Pilates or to get her hair done, she normally goes incognito under a baseball cap".
"She is still going to be seeing and speaking to her most trusted friends just as before", she said, adding that she is "getting used to a more discreet social life".
The childhood friends had a falling out after Priddy, who was Meghan's maid of honor at her first wedding, disapproved of how she broke things off with her film producer husband Trevor Engelson.
"I think on her wedding day she just wanted to be herself".
People magazine reports that all of this has been very "tough" on Markle. She is very strategic in the way she cultivates circles of friends.
