Apple has just revealed a trio of new iPhones, including its most expensive ever - the £1099 iPhone XS Max.
"Some Series 4 and XS Max models sold out in less than a minute". Perhaps the staggered release schedule is indeed due to manufacturing issues, as had been rumored.
Samsung's Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ couldn't possibly have been more boring.
One of the most intriguing features, however, is also the least glamorous: After you drop a grand on your new iPhone, feel free to accidentally drop it in the toilet. Following the launch of the overly-priced 2018 Apple iPhones, Xiaomi has introduced a full pack of its products in the country which consists of different gadgets and they are together priced similar to the cost of a single iPhone.
The iPhone Xs starts at £999 ($1,300) and goes all the way to £1,349 ($1,760) for the 512GB version. Though the XR is cheaper, it does have a larger screen: 6.1 inches to the XS's 5.8 inches. Walmart owned Sam's Club, on the other hand, offers an iPhone Xs deal. Otherwise, the performance and camera improvements in the iPhone XS definitely do not warrant spending as much as $1,400 to upgrade. However, the smallest iPhone you could buy now is the iPhone 7 or the iPhone 8. Even still, you might want to wait before you pull the trigger on a preorder. Why? If you're hoping for a new phone, but not sure how you can justify it in your budget, the Times has some good ideas about saving on an upgrade. This applies to any iPhone that now has iOS 11, so from an iPhone 5S to newer.
However, despite the new phones boasting a range of new features such as new processors for faster performance and an overall improved display for better colour representation, users are being warned on social media that it's only worth ordering news phones after downloading Apple's iOS12 update.
