Danny Murphy makes Man United prediction about Jose Mourinho

Manchester United's Paul Pogba gestures during the game against Leicester City at Old Trafford

I fear being fined if I speak out, Pogba says

The mercurial Frenchman started in Manchester United's opening day win against Leicester, captaining the side in the absence of Antonio Valencia.

La Liga champions Barca have emerged as strong suitors for France midfielder Pogba amid uncertainty over the World Cup winner's future at Old Trafford.

It is said no complaints have been made personally to the club or Mourinho by Pogba since his return from worldwide duty.

"There are things and there are things that I can not say otherwise I will get fined", Pogba told the British press after the Leicester match in a rare occasion he has stopped to speak with them. That's all I say.

Jamie Jackson's story in the Guardian claims that the United board are now ready to restructure behind the scenes, and want to appoint a figure that can give the club continuity in the facing of ever-shortening managerial reigns.

In comments widely regarded as reflecting continuing problems with his relationship with the United boss, he wrote: "I'll always give my best for the fans and my team mates, no matter what's going on".

Meanwhile, Mourinho was frustrated at the club's failure to bring in extra defensive bodies ahead of the transfer deadline. "There is still time to do business", he said. And now it is even more of a dream come true, wearing this armband, because of the past: the players who have played here and those who have been wearing this.

"I actually like the signings Jose Mourinho has made, they're more along the lines of the players I'd like to see at this football club".

"Carrick talked to me, Kieran came to me and they spoke about United, what a big club it is, how people look up to me, about coming from the academy, stuff like that".

"I still enjoying playing football but like I said, when you are comfortable or confident and are good in the head, it's going to be easier". Or you believe in the pundits and go with what they say.
