Marvel’s Spider-Man Gameplay Launch Trailer Shows Shows Miles Morales and Silver Sable
While the Marvel's Spider-Man - Gameplay Launch Trailer is wonderful, it doesn't seem to actually show much gameplay.
Insomniac's Spider-Man is scheduled to release worldwide for PS4 on Sep. 7.
Later in the trailer, Spidey wonders if there's "anyone left in NY who doesn't want [him] dead", while we get glimpses of the young superhero going up against the likes of Mister Negative and Rhino, and saving a rotor-less helicopter from crash landing in the city streets. You can get a look at the detailed NYC landscape by pressing play above.
Spider-Man will hit shelves in September 2018, as a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
Revealed in a piece by Variety, which delved into the studio's plans for a Spider-Man universe (that doesn't feature Spider-Man, yet) with its upcoming release of Venom. It is unclear whether these abilities will be included within Insomniac's and Marvels rendition of Spider-Man, but it would certainly be good to see/play.
Spider-Man: Far From Home may already be in production in London, but the cast is still growing.
In a departure from their dynamic in the comics, Peter Parker and Miles Morales are contemporaries in this Spider-Man game.
Spider-Man Standard Edition is listed for $59.99 and includes the game (physical disc) and the pre-order bonuses listed above. Even Silver Sable, one of Spidey's traditional allies, appears to have it out for him this time.
