And the fun continues today.

To be more specific, they're going to be banned from a subreddit - r/thanosdidnothingwrong - in honour of The Snap from 'Avengers: Infinity War'.

On July 9, the mods of r/thanosdidnothingwrong are planning to ban half of the subreddit's subscribers.

As of this writing, there are over 530,000 subscribers with that number expected to climb even higher.

Now, even Josh Brolin, the actor behind Thanos, has chimed in with his support by snapping his fingers at Reddit. The announcement was made last week and 4 days ago, the subreddit had almost 300,000 subscribers. The Russo Brothers delivered a video of Brolin in bed, recreating the mighty snap.

"Here we go Reddit users", Josh Brolin says with a loud "SNAP!".

"You seriously want us to ban half of the subreddit?" moderator Dragonphlegm initially shot back. Essentially, the subreddit began as a place for fans to post pro-Thanos memes and pictures. This new subreddit already has more than 24 thousand members, but that figure should increase as the day goes on. Let's hope he doesn't take it too hard, who knows what it could mean for the production of Avengers 4. Those who make it through the slaughter like in the film, will remain in the subreddit.

The idea is to randomize the entire process, but extra work will be needed in order to pull off the joke, as they are looking into bots to make the mass-banning possible. His motivation? To halve the serious strain overpopulation is exacting on the fictional universe, and bring balance to all things - as things should be.
