With Courtois now thought to be off to Real Madrid, Chelsea may soon find themselves in need of a replacement.

At this point, selling Courtois and at least receiving compensation in return would seem a whole lot better than potentially losing him to free come next summer.

With rumours hotting up that Thibaut Courtois could be on his way to Real Madrid, it's emerged that former Blues goalkeeper Petr Cech is the primary target to fill the Belgian's gloves if he does join Los Blancos.

Courtois has been spending this week looking at houses.

It's a direct contradiction of a report put forth by Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws that claimed Madrid submitted a $196.8 million bid for Hazard and a $63.6 million offer for Courtois.

According to Sun (UK), the Chelsea forward made it clear he could join the Galaticos after Belgium's World Cup exit at the hands of France's Les Bleus.

In addition to this news, Spanish radio programme Onda Cero has reported that Courtois was in Madrid on Tuesday to take a plane to his holiday choice of Tenerife.

"After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different", he told reporters after Belgium achieved their best World Cup finish. "You know my preferred destination".

Willian continues to be linked with Manchester United, while reports in Kante's native France are linking the midfielder with a potential move to Paris St Germain.

Cech won it all as a Chelsea player. But I feel happy at Chelsea, it's not that I necessarily want to leave. "I would be very surprised if Chelsea didn't have big offers for him right now", Martinez was quoted as saying.
