Boogie breaks the NBA: Reactions to GSW getting Cousins

Will The Sixers Realistically Attract Any Prime Free Agents?

Here's a look at the Warriors current roster and projected starting lineup.

DeMarcus Cousins has agreed to a one-year, $5.3 million deal with the Golden State Warriors according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Cousins has remained engaged in the local community, even after being traded.

Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry told reporters a week later the team "obviously" wants Cousins back.

Cousins also told The Undefeated that he is open to re-signing with the Pelicans but will make the best decision for himself. How is it that a team that features Stephen Curry, Clay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green need any more help? The 16-time National Basketball Association champions arrived into the free agency knowing they could clear out salary space for two max-level contracts, meaning there is room for another star to join LeBron in California.

James penned a four-year deal worth $154m with the Western Conference giants after opting against re-signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers during free agency.

Assuming he is healthy, Cousins on the Warriors offense is downright scary.

With JaVale McGee on his way to the Los Angeles Lakers and Zaza Pachulia a free agent, the Golden State Warriors elected to bring in free agent center DeMarcus Cousins. All three have a history with James, and it will make for interesting theater, at least - if not necessarily brilliant results on the court.

In the video above JJ Reddick was included in the video, because it was flimed before he re-signed with the 76ers.

Smith later added that he has not heard that directly from Leonard or anyone else associated with his camp, but said not to rule out anything when it comes to the Spurs' all-star forward.

The Warriors finished last season with a 58-24 record. Cousins did suffer a nasty ankle injury a year ago, but there's no denying his talent. And the best information circulating through league front offices is that Leonard is still intent on getting to the Lakers, either by trade now or as a free agent next summer.

Oklahoma City, though, is excited about the prospect of having Noel in its system, and hopes to use his athleticism in pick-and-roll combinations with Russell Westbrook as Steven Adams and, previously, Enes Kanter have done so successfully.
